[cisco-voip] Database callmanager 5.x

Are their some advantages Cisco can point to in IBM Informix as the
database of choice? Is it superior in some regards to another DB? I'm
not familiar with it and am curious as to the benefits of IBM Informix
over say PostGRE SQLf, MaxDB, MS-SQL, etc.
Customer's ask this all the time for which I just shrug and say I have
no idea.

pkid is of type GUID, but as you found, unfortunately informix GUID
doesn't clearly contain timestamp as microsft SQL server GUID does.
that was my only idea for creation time.

That'd be more then good enough.
GUID... Hm, can't select it as a column and I assume
guid != pkid
(at least not obvious to me pkid doesn't seem to contain a
(unix)timestamp)
Sorry if thick question - where could I retrieve the GUID from?
Also what's the determination of why some rows/entries were given have a
versionstamp and some don't?
The closest match to guid I was able to find was guidtable from the
output of the syscolumns but that's probably the wrong direction...
Thanks in advance

unfortunately not. the closest would be to derrive the
timestamp from the GUID.
GUID is unique for every row in a table and timestamp is part
of the GUID. given the GUID is only generated when the row
is inserted....

Wes,
CDRTIME = last touch
Is there a hidden column for creation time as well by
any chance? ;)
Thanks
