[cisco-voip] num-exp for DIDs

I like the idea of translation patterns. What I did is I have a dial-peer on the T1 ports with a "." and and then translate them to add a 9 and from there I match the num-exp. I'd have to re-think how that would affect my design.

That should as long as you have a dial-peer that contains that destination-pattern.

Otherwise you could create a voice translation-rule to do the same thing. The results for show num-exp are not as easy to compare to that of 'test voice translation-rule #'.

  show num-exp 96132588123

No num-exp with Dest Digit Pattern = 96132588123

  voice translation-rule 3

   rule 1 /96132588\(...$\)/ /61\1/

  test voice translation-rule 3 96132588123

  Matched with rule 1

Original number: 96132588123 Translated number: 61123

Original number type: none Translated number type: none

Original number plan: none Translated number plan: none

I'd like to add a numexp for a DID range, will this work?

  num-exp 96132588... 61...

Will this send a call coming from 916132588777 to 61777

Don't worry about the 9, I add that to the inbound number with a translation profile. And I know the process works with a stament like this:

  num-exp 96132588123 61999
