Correct only with the 7912G. A packet capture from a span port of
the PC is a good way to see what is causing the flood (multicast,
virus, broadcast storm, etc) .

Thanks Ryan,
If I understand you correctly the Issue is with 7912G and not with
7912G-A , I will check the model of my phones and get back to you, I
have had these deployed over several sites but got complaints from
only one remote site.

What is the model number of the 7912 (cp-7912G vs cp-7912G-A)?
The older 7912 models were susceptible to excessive unicast and
broadcast traffic on the PC port (data vlan) which would cause the
phone to drop packets. This could appear as poor audio quality while
on calls or random resets of the phone. This is due to the software
switch implemented in the original phones. The later phones have a
hardware switch that corrects this problem.
If you don't have a 7912-A then open a TAC SR and RMA the phone. You
will receive a 7912A in return.

I am having voice quality issues ( voice breaking up ) lot of lost
packets when I see on IP Phone page for the last conversation.Phones
are connected to a non cisco switch (dlink). Phone load is 8.0.1 and
CCM is 4.2. No drops on the Qos policy ,complaints coming only one
site when talking on the wan with g.729.
