[cisco-voip] Cisco Click to Dial

We have written an application which allows you to highlight any number
in any document or web page and using either a Hot Key or right click on
the mouse will dial the number.

It uses a server and client. The server uses TAPI to integrate into
CallManager.

It is going through final testing. Let me know if you are interested.

Regards,

Keith.

It sounds like a BHO for IE. You could do the same for Firefox with a
plug-in. It shouldn't be terribly difficult for someone with the
background to do this. Basically your BHO/plug-in scans the HTML and
links phone numbers to the web dialer application. I guess you could
also link to the TSP somehow. This may be easier with the BHO than a
Firefox plug-in but I'm not 100% on that.

If I have a custom in-house CRM application, I would probably need to
talk to my in-house programmers to get the click-to-dial feature. This
may not be true if my CRM application is IE dependent.
