Sounds like you might have intercluster traffic at G729. If so, you
need a hardware transcoder to complete the conference between clusters.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Conference Failed between 2 CallManager Clusters
Dear All,
I have 2 CallManagers (4.01) in different cluster, connecting via
intercluster trunk. Both of them are using software conference bridge.
When I tried to make conference call with IP Phone which registered in 2
CCM, it always failed. For example, phoneA & phoneB are registered in
CCM1, phoneC registered in CCM2. phoneA call phoneB and then conference
phoneC, after dialing the phoneC DN, it just got disconnected. Please
kindly advise if you have any suggestion or comment. Thanks a lot in
advance~
Regards,
Alan
