[cisco-voip] Conference Failed between 2 CallManager Clusters

At what point does the call get disconnected? Does it get disconnected right after dialing phoneC DN? Does it get disconnected after the conference key is pressed a 2nd time to initiate the conference?

I ask because the conference bridge isn't invoked until after the 2nd time the CNF key is pressed. Also, its important to keep in mind that the conference bridge in use during a conference call is determined by the MRGL assigned to the conference initiator. If the CFB that was invoked only accepts g711, you should make sure that phoneC is capable of speaking g711 with that particular bridge. Lastly, can you place a regular (phone to phone) call to phoneC over the ICT? CCM traces (logging level set to detailed) should also provide some insight as to why the failure occurred for phoneC. Feel free to send that my way.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Conference Failed between 2 CallManager Clusters

Dear All,

I have 2 CallManagers (4.01) in different cluster, connecting via intercluster trunk. Both of them are using software conference bridge. When I tried to make conference call with IP Phone which registered in 2 CCM, it always failed. For example, phoneA & phoneB are registered in CCM1, phoneC registered in CCM2. phoneA call phoneB and then conference phoneC, after dialing the phoneC DN, it just got disconnected. Please kindly advise if you have any suggestion or comment. Thanks a lot in advance~

Regards,
Alan
