[cisco-voip] CCM 4.1(3)sr5d and BAT

We have done this very thing. Tac wanted us to upgrade all 6 CM clusters
we support to sr6a (when we just spent a day upgrading to sr5d to fix
this same exact bug!). So we upgraded to sr6a in our test lab, took the
bat application off of it, copied it to another test server with sr5d,
uninstalled bat and then reinstalled the new version of bat on the sr5d
test server. It worked successfully...so we did the real server and we
have not had an issue yet.

Tac did advised us at that point they couldn't help us anymore with that
because it was no supported.

Just remember to stop all Norton services and don't do it through
terminal services.

Not tested by Cisco. There's a good chance it will work, but the
Combination receives absolutely no formal testing or support.

 Hi,

I have noticed an issue with BAT 5.1(4)c installed with CCM
4.1(3)sr5d, in that an attempt to create a template with a 7941G-GE
Phone (for example) results in the pop-up error message "Error No."
when trying to add the template. I suspect this is probably related to
 CSCsj37299.

I've installed SR6a in the lab, and the BAT installed with this SR is
5.1(4)d which appears to fix the issue. Can I take this BAT .exe and
install it on a 4.1(3)5d system until a window can be found to install
a later SR? I've tried this in the lab, and it does appear to work.

 Cheers,

 Matt
