[cisco-voip] Making outbound calls

The only time I found that the digit manipulation does not affect the phone display is when the digit manipulation is done by a far cluster over an intercluster link. In fact, this screwed up one of my proposals (and will teach me to use an ICL for testing) b/c the phone display was different. Otherwise, any digit manipulation appears on the phone as far as I can tell.

  Hi, I have a funny query from one of my colleagues.  He wants to prefix a 83 to all calls on a route list, which he does, but once the call is made the IP phone display shows the 83xxxxxxxx for the outbound call.

   

  See prefix. I need to drop the 83.
