[cisco-voip] Cisco 7911 SIP Firmware & MWI

HI,

 

I recently (as some of you may know) I managed to get some 7911G phones
configured for SIP to work with Asterisk. They are working great except
we need to get the MWI working.

I know its is a problem with the firmware - I am currently using
firmware version  SIP11.8-3-1S. 

 

According to what I've read the MWI works on earlier firmware versions,
but on this and the newer FW (SIP11.8-3-4RS2) versions it does not work
with Asterisk.

 

Problem is that I can't find any of the older firware versions to
download and try. Are the config (conf.XML) files different for earlier
versions?

 

Can anyone help?
