[cisco-voip] Cisco 7936 Conference Phone and LD Account Codes

Hello everyone,

I've got a pair of Cisco 7936 conference phones that are giving me
issues when trying to enter long-distance account codes. It seems that
once you dial a number, the phone ignores any input sent to it until the
call is completed. The problem with this is that, when dialing
long-distance, there's a short tone indicating it's time to enter your
long-distance access code. The phone won't send the digits at this
time. I've also tried dialing the number and putting enough characters
to leave a buffer for the code, but it won't let me enter enough to meet
the delay I'd need.

I opened a case with TAC who said that this is by design. I figure
someone on here might have had this issue (and hopefully their
resolution wasn't getting a new conference phone). Any advice?

Thanks,
Alan
