Removing the image will not increase the disk space. The drives are
partitioned, not shared.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Removing an image from the inactive partition
Does anyone know if this is possible (or has done this)..... to remove
the image from the inactive partition. I have a server running 6.1 that
was upgraded from 6.0. I would like to remove the 6.0 image to reduce
the disk space. Thoughts?
Dave
