Unless they've managed to throw SAS or SCSI on the 1-RU platforms
that (and the size) is the big difference between the 7825 and 7835.
The 7825s have typically had SATA RAID.

OK. so I seen the 7825h3 but what is the real difference between the
7835 and 7825 these days. they both look like they have dual drives
and processor is only .2 ghz different and the HD is bigger(72-->160)
on the 7835h2 compared to the 7825H3.

I have to replace Servers and since I'm only running a small
deployment <1000 I'm leaning toward the 7825h3 for better bang for my
buck. I currently run a 7835 pub and 7825 sub. and my real reason for
the 7835 originally was for the raid 1. if the 7825H3 has Raid 1,
why should I go with a 7835H2?

I also think that a H3 would be better as I'm currently stuck in an
issue of UCCx only supports h1 or better and I have the previous HW
(the H 3.0) and I'm thinking a H3 would be a better purchase then a h2.

Thanks all

Scott

Any idea when Cisco is coming out with the new specs for CM / CRS /
Unity / CER hardware?

looks like the current 7835-h2 is out of HP productions and it's a
special order deal. I'm curious when new specs for a h3 or h4 will
be out?

Thanks

Scott
