I would contact your Account Manager with your telephone company or
check your bill for a customer service number. They should put you in
touch with their internal 911 coordinator who can provide guidance,
setup fees, monthly re-occurring fees, PS-ALI formatting, etc.

For example AT&T (formerly BellSouth) in Charlotte, put me in touch with
a 911 Coordinator at BellSouth who presented all solutions (such as
BellSouth PinPoint), and then quoted me $2k setup and $499/month
re-occurring fee.

Usually once customers find out the telco fees, they change their mind
about PS-ALI and stick with alerting a guard, etc.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CER ALI submission guidelines

Just want to get some guidance on submitting ALI to a service provider
or about the required fields in the ALI like Company ID and Customer ID.
I need to apply for a Company ID from NENA.org, right? The company ID
is the same as customer ID?

ANyone who has experienced dealing with the telco in the LA area? If
yes, which number do I need to call and how do I send them the ALI?

thanks
