[cisco-voip] Cannot get more than 4 calls to the PSTN

G711 yes. I just tested again, and I could get 5 going, but the 6th failed. Had to get some serious debugs and traces for TAC, so let's see if they can figure it out.

What chassis is it?
I assume the cards are installed just in VIC slots? not on an NM?
I believe with HW conference, you will chew up 1 whole DSP even if no conf in progress.
Conf specific firmware is loaded onto the DSP, so it is not available for voice termination.
With PVDM-32 you had 2 DSP's available. With conf configured you have 1.
Still should be enough to terminate the calls as G711 though.
Are the calls all G711?
Cheers,
Tim.

Hi,
Have you also configured your DSP's for other things like transcoding / conferencing / mtp?
Are all the outbound calls definitely G711?
What gateway is it?
Cheers,
Tim

Guys,
I need some advice. I have a customer with Multiple(about 5 and growing) SRST sites hanging of CallManager 6.x. They have WAN connectivity via ADSL, and a BRI port for redundancy. They then have 4 x 2 port BRI cards for Voice. I have a PVDM2-32 in each gateway. I cannot get more than 4 calls to the PSTN on any one site. 5th call gives me the following error: "Cause i = 0x80AF - Resource unavailable, unspecified"
Any ideas?
