[cisco-voip] SIP trunk with no registration, CID issue.

Hi there.
Our SIP provider cannot use registration and as a result it appears that when we dial out our 4 digit extension is being displayed on the target phone. Does anyone know of a way to make the CID show up as a particular number when there is no registration? It is my understanding that usually with registration it uses the username (which is generally the phone number) for the caller id [although I could be wrong]. I've been that a lot lately it seems.
