We created an intercluster trunk without no issues:
Here is what we did:
In call manager 6.X : Intercluster trunk no-gatekeeper controlled
-CSS should be the one from the phones that you want the calls to be completed
- In the Remote Cisco Unified Communication Manager Information should place the call manager from the Phones that are registering.
-The route pattern pointing to this Trunk.
If this is the way that you have configured and calls are not going through.
Do the following:
Run RTMT
Set the trace in Cisco Unified Serviceability to detailed for the Call manager service.
Make the calls
Collect the trace file for the time you have made the call.
This trace file will give you the details why the call is not completing.
Hope this help,
Regards,

Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] Intercluster Trunk between CCM 4 and CUCM 6
Hi
Sorry for my late response but i was pretty busy.... I'm almost sure that it is not a CSS issue, because the same CSS works just fine for internal calls and calls through voice gateway ... Is there some known issue for intercluster trunk between CUCM 6.1.2.1000-13 and CCM 4.1.(3)sr3a?????? I've tried trunking (intercluster without gatekeeper) with other CCM 4.1.(3)sr3a and it was the same. I can make calls from phones registered in CCM 4.1.(3)sr3a to CUCM 6.1.2.1000-13 and not the other way. I've 3 more days to solve the problem, so please if someone have any idea.... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I would say it's a CSS issue.

Hi.... i need some help.... a configured new CUCM 6 instead of my old CCM 4... everything is just fine. But there is a little problem. I have another CCM 4 on a different location and it appears that the trunk between CCM 4 and CUCM 6 does not work. I can make calls from phones on CCM 4 to Phones registerd on CUCM 6, but not the other way. All the trunk settings are same as they were before. Is there something i should know about trunking CCM 4 and CUCM 6????? (I don't have gatekeeper)
Thanks
