No, you do not need an extra license. All you have to do is disable the video option on the phones.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Video Calls

How easy is it to turn on the use of video calls on a 4.2(3) call manager system? I just wanted to play around with it a little. Is there any thing to purchase beside the web-cam? Do I need any extra licensing?
