7960, no peer file sharing, horrible for remote SRST deployments of 50+ phones, might take all night / all day to get the phones upgraded. No intercom either, other than that, they have proven to be fairly reliable.

Also the original 7914 sidecar is now EOS and the new 7915 and 7916 replacements only work with the 7962 and 7965 phones!

Hi,
Key points just off the top of my head... generations in order as listed.. features are cumulative
7960 - First gen... solid line buttons.. pretty bad resolution.. no 802.3af standard PoE
7961 - LED's for line buttons, 802.3af PoE
7962 - iLBC - low bit rate internet codec support, g722
7965 - Colour screen
Cheers,
Tim.

I was checking the datasheet of these phones. Everything seems to be
same for all three expcept the screen enhancements.
Can any one point out the some major differences b/w these phones?
Also what about the generations, I mean which one came first second
and third?
