I hear they switched to a optical (internal) hookswitch around the 79x2
or 79x5. can anyone confirm this?

7960, no peer file sharing, horrible for remote SRST deployments of 50+
phones, might take all night / all day to get the phones upgraded. No
intercom either, other than that, they have proven to be fairly
reliable.

Also the original 7914 sidecar is now EOS and the new 7915 and 7916
replacements only work with the 7962 and 7965 phones!

I was checking the datasheet of these phones. Everything seems to be
same for all three expcept the screen enhancements.
Can any one point out the some major differences b/w these phones?
Also what about the generations, I mean which one came first second
and third?
