I agree, Exchange does not offer enough features for call handlers. We do use Exchange for all our voicemail, and it seems to get the job done for us (other than calls that were CFA don't go to the expected mail box). We went with MWI2000 to get the light to work, although I've seen at least one other product that offers the same thing. To get play on phone to work make sure you have an inbound calling search space configured for the trunk and select redirecting diversion header delivery - inbound.

For the Call Handler stuff, I would just use Unity Express if I were using Exchange 2007.

MWI2007.com I believe is the site to get the 3rd party MWI integration.
as for the UM play on phone I don't know.
I helped one of our K12 districts with this integration last year. Works fine, but you don't get Call handlers, etc.
They seem to love it with the voice portal to just talk at it.

Whether we did the right thing or not we have setup and are beginning to use Microsofts Uniffied Messaging server for our VoiceMail system. (the good and bad of being part of the provincial government and Microsoft alliances) We are still in the trial and testing phase and I was wondering if anyone else is using the same software for VoiceMail. The system works well but there are a couple of features that I would like to look at. First is the 'Play on Phone' button that you get when you receive a VoiceMail indication in your Outlook Inbox. How do you configure the UM and Cisco sides so that will work? Second MWI I know does not work as Microsoft does not look at that functionality. Is there a work around or is it third party software and which is the best?
We are using a SIP trunk to pass info from Cisco to Microsoft UM.
Thanks
