Doh. Sorry, I'm not that familiar with Unity.

I mean Unity with Exchange.

Thanks for your answer!

You should clarify what version of Unity, the answer can vary by
product….
1. Unity Conneciton
2. Unity Voicemail Only
3. Unity Unified Messaging (with Exchange)
4. Unity Unified Messaging (with Lotus Notes)
5. etc

if I assume you have Unity Unified Messaging (with Exchange)
then you import his administrator user account in (in AD you set it to expire
on date). Then in Unity Admin you make him in the Administrator Class of
Service.

Sorry for the vague question. I
meant the actual Unity server passwords for administration. Say we setup a
password on the Unity box for another contractor and we want the password to
expire in X days . . .

Which passwords? VM PINs? Go to
Account Policies in Unity... AD passwords are handled in AD...

Hi folks,

We're being asked by the customer to force unity voicemail passwords to expire
after a certain amount of time. Cisco TAC says this is unsupported so I was
wondering how the rest of you ever had to deal with this request. Did you use
3rd party software? Could you force Unity to sync with AD and then force
passwords though that?

Paul
