[cisco-voip] Fwd: Pickup group for hunt pilot, CSCsb42763 hack

Hi Mike,

We did this on the last deployment. 5000 phones, lots of hunt groups.. we
tested fairly thoroughly, and we didnt run into any additional issues..

Site I have just joined has this "workaround" enabled as well. Seems to be
ok there too.

I went through the same thing, because customer was a bank, and they wanted
assurances etc. Opened tickets with Cisco, asked SE's etc. But they didnt
really give any useful comments.

I dont remember any issues with broadcast, but most groups were circular in
the last one. Only thing I could think of is maybe if all line group members
were not in the pickup group.

Call it a "workaround" instead of a "hack" and you will start to feel better
;)

Cheers,

Tim.
