Hi everyone
I was just wondering if anyone have got a cookbook sort of document for Call Manager v6.1. One that steps you through a setup of calling search spaces, partitions, route liste and so on. I had this for CCM 4.1, but I lost It somewhere, and now we have moved on to 6.1.
After this I have decided to start some housekeeping inside call manager, but there are to many things that can go wrong. Also I have not worked too much with the old CCM 4.1, so I'm kinda "feeling" my way forward. Therefore I have createt a test server to practice on, but some cookbooks would be gladly appreciatet.
The main issues, if someone wants to comment on them, are these.
- We have 2 companies inside the CCM, When it was made it was supposed to be separatet in 2 partitons, 2 dp and so on. This was made, but did not work as expected. So the supplier put all in on Partition and 1 device pool. But we have different numbers. Also it appears we use the same RouteGroup,
- The Next issue I'm beginning to think has to do with the first one. If we set a phone to redirect every incomming call to a cell phone, that cell phone sees only the number from which we forwarded(i.e the office phone number) not the number of the one actually calling.
- Also we have lost our dialing tone when forwarding calls, it's just totally silent until the cell phone picks up the call. This Cisco belives to be a bug in IOS or a compatibility problem with the ip2ipgw and MTP on the same device, so they are working on that. IOS on ip2ip gw is 12.4.18 (cisco 2801) <- This is just for info if someone has seen something similar and solved it :) I recon Cisco will figure it out
If someone has any info on any of the issues I gladly take some advice.
Best regards
