[cisco-voip] audio fade in and out

I have CM 6.1.2.1106 and Firmware 8.4.1 on all my phones (79x1, 79x2, 79x5)
and we are having issues with audio fading in and out.  has anyone ever
heard of something like this?

Problem started with the upgrade from 4.1 but has followed both firmwares
thus far.
