I would make sure the message store was mounted and that none of the
transaction logs were full, run the permissions wizard, check for
any services set to automatic and not running, look in the Enterprise
Manager or equivalent to make sure your databases are present, (once
mine werent, and it was confusing, because I thought I was looking in
the wrong place) .. maybe even get into the tools depo and run
the DCGC Recconect Settings Wizard for the force-domain reconnect
button.
I feel like I have seen that error before, and while I cant remember
specifically the solution, 99% of problems with my
4.2(1) Unity come are resolved somewhere in that process.
