[cisco-voip] holiday schedules for unity/unity connection (what time range?)

For those of you using holiday scheduled in unity and/or unity connection (or express for that matter)....what time range do you use?

Do you use the business day time range, so 8:30 to 4:30 sort of thing? Or do you use 12AM to 11:59:59PM sort of thing?

The first would only play the holiday greeting during business hours and then the closed greeting during all other hours. The second would play the holiday greeting for the whole day.

I feel like it's a six of one half a dozen of the other situation, but I'm wondering what experiences others have had to see if one is actually better.

I really like the idea of the 12AM to 11:59:59PM so that way, someone who calls outside of normal business hours knows what's going on. I'd even say the holiday schedule should start at the closing of business day the day before, but that might be pushing it. It would also require a much more custom message, including the date of the holiday in order to be efficient.

Comments?
