[cisco-voip] E911 question - PSAP requiremetns

I have been asked about installing a PRI for E911 by my employer and I
am wondering about the PSAP requirements for the Southeastern region of
the US.

I have done E911 before on smaller installations using POTS lines to one
emergency center.  

My question is: Are most of the PSAP numbering the same or do differnet
states require different numbering formats?

7, 8, or 10 digits such as:
    voice-port 1/1/1
    ani mapping 1 312
    signal cama kp-npd-nxx-xxxx-st
