I use one of these and love it - Bluetooth serial adapter:

Kinda pricey but worth it as much as I use one.
And as a backup I keep one of these in my bag:

Have you ever found a good USB to RS-232 adapter that doesn't lock up in
HyperTerminal/Putty or change Com ports without telling you, etc?
My buddies were talking about the headaches those USB to RS-232 adapters
give. They usually program electrical PLCs (programmable logic controls from
Allen Bradley) which still have serial interface.
Found any good USB to RS-232 solutions? I found USB driver problems are
even worse with x64 than x86.
