The problem ended up being the User Search Base. I needed to specify where the Username of the directory account was located.
Thanks for the advice,
Mike

Make sure that the following information is correct:
Base DN
IP Address (obviously correct per your email)
User Name * this is the DISPLAY NAME of the account your are binding to the directory as *
User Password
User Search Base * this should be in the format of ou=sublocation,ou=location if all of your users are in a specific ou. If they are spread out, leave blank. do NOT add the base dn to this section *
It is likely from the User Name/User Search Base fields...

Subject: [cisco-voip] WFM installation error
Hello all,
I am installing WFM 8.3(3). TAC tried to contact Calabrio. Calabrio told TAC since it is an installation issue contact Cisco PDI. So I was hoping someone had experience with WFM.
The error I am getting is:
Invalid data saving step Active Directory:
Could not connect to AD domain <192.168.12.245>.
I can telnet to the AD server via 389. The WFM server is in the domain and is able to log into it. ICMP is successful from WFM server and AD server. Firewalls/ACLs are disabled. Anyone have an idea what I am missing?
Thanks,
Mike
