[cisco-voip] Licensing Question CCM 6.1

Thanks Ryan (and John)

I see now...so if I entered our new phones using about 70 more licenses
that bring us really close to 2244. That sounds right then. I guess it
was the "including overdraft" that confused me.

Doesn't take much to do that some times :-)

This line pretty much sums it up.

LicAvlbl=2244,IncludingOverdraft=2359,LicUsed=2166

You have 2244 total, we give you some room to fudge a bit (overdraft)
and are using 2166 of the 2244. The RTMTAlert SysLogSeverity is for any
syslog event of a matching priority (critical by default in 6.1.2).

So you aren't out yet, but getting close.

Greetings,

I've received a couple of these RTMT Alerts:

It appears we're out of licenses for our phones?

We did an upgrade from 4.1 to 6.1 and I was sure to put all our existing
phones into CM before the upgrade. Just today I entered about 70 new
licenses to cover some new phones we purchased. I've entered zero of
those new phones so far. Why do you think I'm getting this message? Or
is this alert not even what I'm assuming it to be?

Thanks

jeff
