Hi guys,

Cisco DOC says, you shud bind ETH0 MAC in CCM for getting license (feature
or DLUs).

Situation1: Only using ETH0 (No fault-tolerance configured)
------------------------------------------

If server's ETH0 physical mac (when it was shipped) is EE:EE:EE:EE , the
license will be generated using first ETH0 address.

I have tested this and works.

Situation2: (when fault tolerance is enabled)
-=--------------------------------------------------------------
Eth0 physical mac : EE:EE:EE:EE
Eth1 physical mac : FF:FF:FF:FF

When fault tolerance enabled, the mac on all interface becomes same:
i.e
eth0: CC:CC:CC:CC<----------this has changed from EE:EE:EE:EE
eth1: CC:CC:CC:CC <------this has changed from FF:FF:FF:FF
bond0: CC:CC:CC:CC <---------this is created once fault tolderance is
enabled.

So in this situation, for licensing purpose - which MAC address should be
bonded to make licensing work? and why?[?][?][?]

CC:CC:CC:CC or EE:EE:EE:EE ???????????

I have the gut feeling, that EE:EE:EE:EE (the original hysical hard coded
one) MAC shud use for licensing purpose....

Thanks in advance.
