Actually, check to make sure a transcoder is not being invoked, also,
please. Using a web broswer, browse to the ip address of the IP Phone
makign the call . In the lower right hand of the scree, WHILE you are
on a call, click "stream 1" and look at "remote IP" - Is this the IP
of your gateway? does the LOCAL port number match what you see in the
gateway's "sh call active voice brief?" (there shoudl be a remote ip
and port listed for one of the call legs - it should match where the
IP phone is listening. Checking this helps you make sure there's not a
transcoder in use on the gateway.
