[cisco-voip] Headsets for 7960 and 7961 IP phones?

This would require HHC (Headset Hook Control) which was introduced in
79x2 and has CallManager dependencies.  There is not another method
unless you can wiggle your nose like a Genie and make objects move
<joke>.

Anyone know of a headset that will work *without* a lifter on the
7960/61 phones?  

 

Plantronics has one now for a 7965 but that doesn't help me.
