[cisco-voip] Unity 5x Phone View but customer deleteCCMAdministror in MLA

I spent all day with TAC on this and didn't get far....my problem seems
more like "The Puzzler" from Car Talk...

I followed the tests in the Cisco AXL Troubleshooting Guide and on the
Unity server I created a testaxl.htm that confirms Unity has HTTP
connectivity to the AXL server, that the AXL

user credentials are valid, and that the AXL service is running. I then
opened the AXL Trace Logs from C:\Program Files\Cisco\Trace\AXL and can
see the SelectCmDevice returned thousands of phones to Unity.  I then
ran Network Monitor on the Unity server with a capture filter for the
SOAP AXL traffic.  I can see the http request and the return response to
Unity including a final http 200 ok to Unity.  I then get the Unity log
WinHttpReceiveResponse failed in OpenRequest in UTIM.

 

What I haven't done is turn on micro tracing in Unity, that is next....

I'm going to guess that they are using AXL to connect to CUCM and get
device info.  So I'd start by looking at the AXL debugs in CUCM to see
what it thinks is going on.

My test from Unity to http://ccm-ip/ccmcip/authenticate.jsp

great, I get Un-Authroized.

 

I followed everything below but see other users in NetPro forum are
getting same error but no resolution. Common thread is MLA.
