[cisco-voip] PLAR and VM?

Thanks for the ideas Scott!
We don't use Unity (CallXpress), but I can add an alternate number as
well.
As for RP...
CTI Route Point?
Route Pattern?
Recording Profile?
What am I trying to accomplish with the RP? I haven't used H.323
gateways in a while, so I'm not sure how to get 1234 into the call
manager since it's a plar.
What should I be looking for?
JM

add the 1234 as an alternate number in Unity to the VM 4321 and use a RP
for extension 1234 (i'm guessing 1234 is not a route match in CM).
Just my 2 cents

Hi,
I'm a little unsure about how PLAR handles VM. I've got number 1234 on
my gateway that does a PLAR to 4321.
Number 4321 has a VM box and if I call 4321 directly it goes to VM after
4 rings.
However if I dial 555-1234, it PLARs to 4321 but never goes to VM.
Eventually after about 10 rings it hangs up on me.
How can I get 1234 to go to a VM box if nobody answers the PLAR to 4321?
