[cisco-voip] Echo to the Same numbers

Usually this means echo is being caused at the far end. Due to round
trip time it is not possible to cancel that echo on our side. The far
end CPE is not playing by community rules.

Strange situation here. I have a Call Center with about 80 users. This
is an Inside Sales group so they talk to a lot of the same callers.
We have identified about 6 PSTN numbers where the Cisco phones have
echo every single call. The IP Phone user hears their voice echoed
back. Echo persists for the entire call. When the users talk to other
callers they have no echo. A phone call to one of these PSTN numbers
from another Cisco phone has the same echo.

Anyone had any luck with “echo-cancel erl worst-case 3” ?
