Hi Gary,

For CUBE (IPIPGW), no DSPs are needed.

If you wanted to do hardware MTP or transcoding you would need DSPs
somewhere in your network, and they could be on the router if you
would like.

DSPs are needed to create or modify RTP packets.  In this case they
simply pass through the box.
