Subject: Firmware Upgrade in Preparation for Upgrade from CCM 4.1(3)sr8
to CUCM 7.X ???


We are currently running CCM 4.1(3)sr8 and will upgrade to CUCM 7.X in 4
weeks.  Our current firmware which was unexpectedly included in the SR8
upgrade is SCCP41.8-4-1SR2S.  Should we be further upgrading the
firmware in preparation for our BIG upgrade next month?  We have 7961,
7912 and 7936 phones.
 
I see the latest firmware is ciscocm.4-1-DevPack-89.exe, but I don't
know if that's compatible with 4.1(3) or if it's just for CUCM 7.X.  Any
guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!
