[cisco-voip] Cisco Attendant console and CCM version 7

I thought I'd jump in and clarify this for all of you:

 

1)    The "bundled" CUAC was END OF LIFE'd by Cisco in October 2008 (see

2)    When CUCM v7.0 was launched the CUAC was unbundled - as it is now
end of life

3)    However, for a short period of time, the CUAC was available for
download from CCO. This has now been removed from CCO - and can no
longer be downloaded

4)    The replacements are the Cisco Unified Department, Business or
Enterprise Attendant Consoles - or Arc Enterprise for more complex
requirements

5)    For customers UPGRADING to CUCM v7 from previous versions, the
CUAC will still work. However, for new installations of CUCM v7 it is
not supported

6)    Then, with CUCM v8, the CUAC will not function at all - at the
time of moving to this CUCM version, you need to have your Attendant
Console strategy ironed out

 

So it will never be bundled with CUCM v7, and it has now been removed
from CCO for downloading

Attendant console is still available under UCM 7.  It can be downloaded

as a plugin from the CUCM Admin Console.  It can also be downloaded from

Cisco's website.

I was checking the data sheet form CCM 7 and they are not bundled any

more. so what is the alternative.

I heard they have Enterprise Attendant Console and ARC Console.

 

If we order version 6.1, do we still need to order the console

separately?
