[cisco-voip] Cisco Attendant console and CCM version 7

New installs of CUCM 7.x will not see the AC client available for
download on the plugins page. Upgrades from older versions will
still see the plugin available and in all cases the back-end services
are still there and working (supported too). Apparently the feedback
on this decision in 7.0 was such that they (we) decided to make the
AC plugin available on cisco.com so that even customers with fresh
installs of CUCM 7.0 can still use the Cisco AC. I don't know if the
AC client for 7.1 will be provided in the same manner.
The writing is on the wall (as they say) for Cisco AC. It will be
going away sooner than later and customers that use it heavily should
be preparing to find alternatives, whether it be the ARC product or
some other.

Not speaking for Syed, but we've had clients request UCM 6.1 because
Cisco Attendant Console is 'free' and supported for a longer period.
With UCM 7, at one time anyway, Attendant Console was only supported
if the system was upgraded from a previous version to UCM 7.x.
Perhaps that's changed?
AFAIK, CUBAC, CUDAC and CUEAC are a significantly priced add-on, too
significant for many organizations in our case.

Why would you order 6.1? You can use CUBAC, CUDAC, or CUEAC product
depending on your needs. They are all from ARC but are sold OEM by
Cisco.

Dear all,
I was checking the data sheet form CCM 7 and they are not bundled any
more. so what is the alternative.
I heard they have Enterprise Attendant Console and ARC Console.
If we order version 6.1, do we still need to order the console
separately?
