Yes. This works perfectly from the UCCX box.

Can you telnet to port 25 of your Exchange HT server from your CCX box and send email that way? This will confirm that your Exchange SMTP receive connector is setup to allow email to be relayed through it.

Subject: [cisco-voip] UCCX Email problem

Situation:

UCCX version: 7.0(1)SR04_Build443
OS Version: 2003.1.5

I’ve build a script that creates and email, attaches a recorded .wav file, and sends the email to an recipient.

The email is successfully created and the wav is successfully attached. When I’m pointing UCCX to an External Exchange 2007 server, the script debug shows that the email is not successfully sent and it’s never received.

However if I install a local SMTP server on the UCCX box, everything works great.

After some troubleshooting, the UCCX box never builds the TCP connection to exchange.

(using TCPVIEW utility: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx)

Any ideas?

Thanks,
