[cisco-voip] MoH playout fails every other time

To add to what Ryan has already mentioned, respin (aka 6.X(Y)a/b/c/d
only include a limited, but generally pretty severe set of code fixes
which are listed in the resolved caveats section of the README.

No it's not. In the version format of 6.1.4.XYYY-Z the X represents
the build version (2XXX = 6.1(4a), etc), the YYY represents the ES
build, and Z is the specific build of that ES. So you will want
something like 6.1.4.2102 or higher.

In your case the first ES after 6.1(4a) is 6.1.4.2113-1, with the latest
6.1.4.2217-1.

Basically for ES trains you just compare the last 4 digits (including
the dash) for 6.x. With 7.x it gets a lot more complicated and it makes
my brain hurt thinking about it, so just ask if in doubt.

        It's this:

CSCta10219 Intermittently silence packets streamed from MOH
        &/or ANN Server

There is a workaround which involves enabling multicast in
certain areas. Alternatively you can upgrade to any 6.1(4) ES
        higher than 1102 or 7.1(3).

This is strange...and I am getting desperate.

Version CUCM 6.1(4a). Pub and sub at main site, 2 subs at
        remote sites.

MRG contains one MoH resource (on main site sub).

First time hold is invoked, audio plays out. 2nd time, audio stops
after 2-3 seconds, 3rd time audio plays out, 4th time stops
        after 2-3
        seconds, etc...

Have tried changing MoH resource, no effect. Have tried
        changing audio
file, no effect. Have tried adding 2nd MoH resource to MRG, no
        effect.

I have a case open, but my engineer doesn't get on shift for a
        while, so
I wanted to see if anyone had heard of this before, or has any
        suggestions.
