You might get away with restarting particular services on each box, but we never spent the time trying to figure out which ones.

You could "accidentally" restart them. We won't say anything. ;)

In the past we found that we had to restart the cluster from the ground up any time a dependent server was restarted or had connectivity issues.

In order:

    1. primary domain controller
    2. backup domain controller
    3. partner exchange server
    4. secondary exchange server
    5. unity server

It's a drag, but it usually works.

we had a network outage last night. but according to Unity event logs, Exchange is online. But when logging into the VM box of a user (all Users) we get Message server is offline.

I have restarted Unity with no help.

What should I be looking for? I'm not seeing much of help in the Event log.

Thanks
