[cisco-voip] iDivert behavior to an administrative defined number?

How about this... say his current extension is 1000...

Call comes in and ring Line 2 of his phone 1000. After 2 rings (~8 sec) it does a CFNA/CFB to extension 1001, which is located at Line 1 of his phone. So he has 8 seconds to hit idivert on Line 2. Line 2 would be configured with the altered VM Profile. Line 1 (1001) would have the normal profile. As a result this gives him the idivert functionality he is looking and keep his VM button, and his calls would actually go to his voicemail.

It is... and that would be your trade-off. You could create a speed dial
on one of the phones buttons to replace the "envelop" button.

Hi Chris,
this would be a solution. But how can I then configure the voice mail
button on the Phone. Is this not taking the same configuration then ?

Thanks
Philipp

Hi Philipp,

All you need to do is setup a new VM Profile with a different Pilot
number to be whatever the co-workers number is. That should direct the
call as you want it. You also need to check the CSS in the VM
profile/Pilot so that the call can make it there.

Hi all,
my costumer is asking if it is possible to use the iDivert functionality
but not to the Voice mail number.
The costumer would like to make this for teams. If one is called from a
person he knows that he spoke to his workmate he would like to divert
the call immediately to his workmate.
Is there a possibility to change the number iDivert is using? Or is it
possible to define a new softkey which will have almost the same
behavior except the different divert to number?
Any hints are appreciated.

Thanks
Philipp
