[cisco-voip] greater than three callmanager in group

Fair enough - that's what I suspected, but I would hope that would have been a suggested config and not hard coded. Many places are incorporating secondary and tertiary data centres, being able to access those sites' resources to deliver full service would be great. I'd rather wait an extra 30 seconds to get to a real subscriber than jump to SRST and get limited service.
But that's just me.
Thanks.

I'd heard the reasoning originally was because of how long a phone waits to move to the next UCM in the list that it didn't make sense to have more than that due to how long it would take to hunt through the lists before finally going to SRST

Wait, let me clarify that. I have 5 possible CMs that my phone can be subscribed to. But, since I only have a pub and 1 sub, only 2 are populated with actual call managers. The other 3 are blank.

interesting. i went to the help screen and it said only three will be listed.
so on a 7940 / 7960 under Settings > Networking Configuration you have 21 thru 25 populated?

CUCM 7 has 5 call managers in his Unified CM configuration on 7940s and 7960s.

I'm just wondering if later firmware versions (for 7940s and 7960s) and later callmanager versions support greater than 3 callmanagers in their list? Right now, there are three callmanagers listed on the phone. We have four subscribers that I'd like to be able to program so that in the event we have a power issue, I can run all phones on one subscriber.
i'm using 4.1(3) and was hoping v7 fixed this.
