While upgrading the server has the system asked you this question;

Reboot with the new upgrade Or reboot with the old upgrade. Some thing
like this . If you get this option then your test publisher will have an
option to switch. And also from command line u can do the switch version by
using the following command

Utils system switch-version

Cheers

Hi Jamie,

In CUCM OS Administration there is an option to Switch Version. Go to
Settings/Version. Here you find “switch Version” option.

I hope I helped

Asunto: [cisco-voip] Publisher Upgrade Issue (Version 6)

Morning all,

I have recently upgraded our test Call Manager publisher from version 6.0(1)
to 6.1(2).

The upgrade appeared to work. However, when I rebooted the server and
checked the version it’s still showing as 6.0(1).

I am sure that the upgrade worked and has been installed on the inactive
partition, but I don’t know how to switch versions. I have noticed on our
live publisher (version 5.1) there is an option to switch versions under
CUCM OS Administration.

I have also stopped and started the publisher’s services but to no avail.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jamie
