[cisco-voip] directory handler behaviour in connection

I find it odd that depending on whether your using a voice enabled or keypad enabled directory handler, Connection behaves differently on what I would consider seemingly arbitrary items.
For example, a speech enabled directory handler uses the subscribers recorded name to announce the selection, where keypad enabled directory uses TTS translation of the display name.
UGH.
I guess I'll open a case with the TAC to see if it's a documented defect to be fixed in a later release. But I doubt it.
Anyone got any info on this? I know it's fairly new but thought I'd ask.
