I'll second the motion. The Sa-Announce appliance is super simple to integrate and easy to manage. Plus, their support group is easy to work with.

syn-apps makes a great product that is considerably cheaper than singlewire and does the same things.

One of my sites would like to put a button on the receptionist's phone that will flash a message on several other phones. Something along the lines of "crazy person in the lobby, please send burly men"

I've been poking around http://developer.cisco.com/web/ipps/docs and the archives for this list, and it looks like with enough time I could do an XML push to a handful of phones and tie it to either a service or a directory button. Is there something ready made though that I can either adapt or just implement? Ideally I could just assign it to a button on her phone.

When looking at some overhead paging solutions, I thought I saw something that might work, but that's quite a cost for just the one message.

CUCM 6.1, 7945G phones (she has a 7965+7914).

Thanks,

Sean
