[cisco-voip] missing CAR data...why?

shiver me timbers.... under CAR > System > Control Centre, "Cisco CDR Analysis and Reporting Scheduler" shows as stopped (with square icon). 

how the heck did that get stopped!?!?!? 

and what happens if I start it up? how long will it take to go through all those records? Mind you it's only one month of data.

For some reason, it looks like we're missing CAR data. I'm pretty sure we have CDR data because I can do searches. But when I do anything from the CAR menu, I get: 



30023: Data is not available for the date range selected. Data is only available from Jun 17, 2009 to Sep 1, 2009. 


A colleague of mine ran a manual purge sometime early August, but he's done that many times and even then, he always uses the "older than" option and selects something from a few months back. 

Any way to check what's going on? I checked the event viewer for Sept 1 and 2 and couldn't see anything.
