Hi,

I faced a very wired dhcp problem. I set up a router as dhcp server on
subinterface. interface connected to switch and configured as a trunk.

I can see from debug that dhcp packets are exchanging between router and
ipphone

*Mar 2 03:14:01.547: DHCPD: DHCPDISCOVER received from client
0100.059b.f19c.4f on interface FastEthernet0/0.500.
*Mar 2 03:14:01.547: DHCPD: Sending DHCPOFFER to client 0100.059b.f19c.4f
(200.0.0.1).
*Mar 2 03:14:01.551: DHCPD: broadcasting BOOTREPLY to client
0005.9bf1.9c4f.
*Mar 2 03:14:01.555: DHCPD: DHCPREQUEST received from client
0100.059b.f19c.4f.
*Mar 2 03:14:01.555: DHCPD: No default domain to append - abort update
*Mar 2 03:14:01.555: DHCPD: Sending DHCPACK to client 0100.059b.f19c.4f
(200.0.0.1).
*Mar 2 03:14:01.559: DHCPD: broadcasting BOOTREPLY to client
0005.9bf1.9c4f.

However I can see these 8 lines repeating every 3 seconds. Phone shows dhcp
server 255.255.255.255

factory reset didn't help.

Anybody face this before?

Cheers,

Jereny
